Another week has gone by. Mark, Amy and Luke arrived on Monday and stayed until Thursday. The weather was very nice while they were here. I went to Sea World with them on Wednesday. Mark got everybody in for free. "Salute to Heroes" promotion gives free park addmission to active duty military. Mark and I rode on Kracken - front row. They are in Zephyr Hill yesterday and coming back today for a day or two before they go home.

Mom got results back from thyroid tests that she had done. She has an enlarged tyroid and has nodules on her thyroid. She is going to endrocronologist on Feb. 28th. She also went to heart Dr. this week. No new there I guess. Dr. said she wanted to wien Mom off nitro patches. No results back from sleep achne test yet.

Mission news - I am thinking about going on mission trip to Israel for 10 days at the end of Sept. this year. We are going to do maintenance work at Baptist Village in Tel Aviv. Missionaries from our church have taken over leadership responsibility this year at this facility and it is in pretty poor condition. Mom and others in our SS class dont' want to go - too dangerous.

Well Thad shamed me into updating my blog.

I was in Atlanta for two weeks from Jan. 29 through Feb. 9 installing and testing new software on a Linux server. I worked a couple of 70+ hour weeks so I was pretty tired at the end of that time. I got to watch the super bowl in the conciere's lounge at the hotel.

Aunt Janet was here visiting for a few days from Feb. 7 to Feb. 12th. She dropped Bert off at one of his nieces in Fort Lauderdale and then came up here. She went on a short cruise with Uncle Jim to the Bahamas to see how see liked it.

I taught SS last week and a couple weeks before. The first lesson I taught was on sex and pornograhpy. Interesting subject for a bunch of people in the 50+ age group. This past week was a little calmer subject - getting out of your comfort zone in serving God.

I was in Miami on Sunday night thru Wednesday. I was away on Valentines day but I did send mom flowers so I got partial credit.

Friday I have been going to a men's Bible study at 7 AM. We are going through a book "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge. It is a combination video and discussion group. Todd would like this since it is alot of wilderness stuff filmed in Colorado.

M0m had some tests this week. Sleep acnea on Wednesday night and ultrasound on her thyroid on Friday.

Mark and Amy are coming next week for a week or so. Mark is in between duty stations.
